The outdoor educational trip at National Public school is an integral part of our curriculum. The trip allows the students opportunities to explore the natural world during unique and rewarding field experiences. It helps in team building and for strengthening students’ relationship both among one another and with their teachers.
The students of 3rd to 5th grade went for a one day trip to ‘Bakhyalaskhmi farm’ on 9th November 2018. They visited the dairy area and saw how the milking machine works, biogas generator area, the bonsai garden, the bird sanctuary, nursery, the mango grove and many more. The trip was a wonderful opportunity for the students to experience how farm works as well as a time for all students to come together as a group, working and socializing together.
The students of 6th to 8th grade went to Avaniya Adventure Camp,Kolar on 10th November 2018 . At Avaniya, the children were given the opportunity to TRY in a supportive atmosphere and discover the excellence within themselves. There were many activities such as high rope, long rope, zip line, rock climb and nature strolls. Participants were able to set their own goals, test their limits and push themselves towards it through a series of challenges. These activities taught them not only to become a fearless leader and build character, but also to learn how to become a fighter and a doer.

Teachers’ day is celebrated throughout the country on 5th September every year. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers' day.
The school celebrated Teachers’ Day with zeal and zest on September 5, 2018. There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. The students of grade 9-12 took over the duties of the teachers for the day. The Principal, Mr.Rajesh Pillai, addressing the entire school, lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. He also appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. There was a special celebration for teachers which included speech, dance, song, skit and games with many prizes followed by a grand lunch.
