To provide students with the unique experience of handwritten messages, a postcard writing activity was organised at NPS, Ckbnr as part of learning.
The activity which was conducted across Grades I to XII, provided them with an experience to connect with their loved ones in a personal and traditional way.
Postcard writing activity, an absolute new concept for the students, taught them the value of handwritten messages. It also provided them with a break from instant and digital communication.
Each student was given a postcard and was asked to write a message of gratitude, memory shared or simply a note to brighten their parent’s or grandparent’s day.
The postcards written were promptly dropped in the post box by the pre-primary and kindergarten students who visited the post office as part of their educational field trip on Monday, September 2, 2024.
The field trip provided the students with hands-on experience of how a post office functions.
