At National Public School, Chikkabanavara, 20th May 2024, marked the commencement of the new Academic Year for Grades IX, X and XII, which began with a heartwarming ceremony held in the school auditorium. The event was attended by students and teachers.
The ceremony began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh and Junior School Principal, Ms. Rajee Samjith.
In the inaugural address, Ms. Rajee Samjith, Junior School Principal, emphasised the importance of a holistic education and encouraged the students to imbibe the qualities of Marathon runners, which are consistency, discipline, long term goal setting, endurance and strategic planning by quoting… “Life is much more of a marathon than a sprint.”
Senior School Principal Ms. Priyanka S welcomed the students of Grades IX, X and XII and highlighted the school’s achievements in the CBSE Board results of Grade X and XII. She further emphasised the significance of the upcoming year as a crucial time for academic growth and personal development. She also urged the students to embrace the new challenges ahead with determination and make the most of the opportunities provided by the school.
She concluded by introducing the new initiatives and resources that the school would be implementing to aid in the academic journey in the Year 2024-25.
