‘ASCENSIO’….TO A NEW BEGINNING! GRADUATION AND BLESSING DAY OF GRADE XII AND X

Walking out with memories, stepping forward with dreams – farewell, dear students
The Graduation and Blessing Day for Grades XII and X students was a touching and memorable occasion, marking the culmination of their school journey. The event was filled with emotions, reflections and words of encouragement as students prepared to step into a new phase of life.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp and an invocation song.
The CEO of the school Ms Preethi Reddy addressed the gathering and shared words of inspiration and encouragement for the students as they step into a new phase of their journey.
A special tradition followed, wherein the dignitaries lit the candles held by the students, who then walked gracefully to the stage, signifying the passing of knowledge and values from one generation to the next. The school anthem was then sung, filling the atmosphere with a sense of pride and unity.
As a token of remembrance, students were presented with a Yearbook, a collection of cherished memories from their time in school. Additionally, students who had completed ten years in the institution were honoured with mementos, recognising their long and meaningful association with the school.
Junior School Principal, Ms Rajee Samjith addressed the students and congratulated the graduating students on their hard work and perseverance. She also introduced the Chief Guest of the event, Mr C R Benakanalli, Retd. District and Sessions Judge Karnataka Judicial Service and Presiding Officer, DRT, Karnataka, Bangalore.
The Chief Guest, in his speech shared words of wisdom and motivation. He also appreciated the efforts of the school in nurturing young minds and preparing them for the challenges ahead.
The school president Mohnish and school house captains shared their experiences, reminiscing their time in school, the friendships formed and the lessons learned. Their speeches were filled with gratitude for their parents, teachers, friends and the institution that shaped them over the years.
A symbolic moment of the event was when the School President handed over the School Flag to the Senior School Principal Ms Priyanka Suresh, signifying the transition of leadership and the continuity of school traditions. This act reflected the values of responsibility and legacy that each batch carries forward.
One of the most touching segments of the event was the screening of a video showcasing the journey of the students—from their early days in school to their final moments as graduating seniors. The video, capturing countless memories, brought nostalgia and tears to many eyes, reinforcing the deep bond they shared with the school.
In the concluding speech, Senior School Principal Ms. Priyanka Suresh emphasised the importance of lifelong learning and encouraged students to uphold the values of the school and strive for excellence in their future careers.
The Senior School Principal officially declared the students of Grade XII as graduates, marking the successful completion of their schooling. The declaration was followed by cap throwing ceremony by the Grade XII students. The students stood on the stage and threw their caps into the air, symbolising the beginning of a new journey in their lives. The auditorium resonated with applause and excitement as students embraced their fellow classmates, capturing memories.
The event concluded with blessings from the school management and faculty, encouraging students to embrace the future with confidence, integrity and perseverance. It was a day of mixed emotions—joy, pride and bittersweet farewells—as the graduates bid adieu to their beloved school, carrying forward cherished memories and lifelong lessons.
