AVISHKAAR 2024-25: ZONALS OF IRC LEAGUE HELD AT NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, CHIKKABANAVARA

The Zonal rounds of the IRC League ‘Avishkaar 2024-25’ were held with great spirit of innovation at National Public School, Ckbnr on December 13, 2024.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest Mr. Rahul Ramesh, a seasoned AI researcher and lead scientist at Siemens Healthineers, along with the CEO, Ms. Preethi Reddy, Principal, Senior School, Ms. Priyanka Suresh and Principal, Junior School, Ms. Rajee Samjith.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, marking the official commencement of the event. To energise the atmosphere, the event began with an electrifying Tutting Dance performance by the students of Grade IX.
The IRC League which is more than just a competition, is a platform for learning, sharing and growing as a community of innovators. Students from a wide range of schools had gathered to showcase their talent, hard work and passion for Robotics.
Chief Guest Mr. Rahul Ramesh shared valuable insights from his decade-long experience in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation. His speech inspired participants to pursue excellence in technology and problem-solving.
The CEO, Ms. Preethi Reddy emphasised the importance of platforms like IRC League in fostering innovation and creativity among young minds.
Principal, Junior School Ms. Rajee Samjith congratulated all participants and highlighted the role of collaborative learning in shaping future innovators.
The concluding address by Principal, Senior School, Ms. Priyanka Suresh applauded the efforts of students, mentors and organisers, reinforcing the spirit of teamwork and perseverance. She further explained the rules and code of conduct to be followed during the event.
The event began with all arenas meticulously prepared, setting the stage for an exciting day of competition. Referees, equipped with scoring sheets, were ready to ensure fair play throughout. Participants enthusiastically showcased their Robotic creations, which were a testament to their innovation, creativity and collaborative efforts.
The young minds demonstrated exceptional talent, hard work and a passion for Robotics. The event featured thrilling Robot battles, challenging obstacle courses and inspiring demonstrations.
This year’s theme, ‘Rise of the Machines’, added an electrifying edge to the competition, highlighting the limitless possibilities of technology and human ingenuity.
The event concluded with the presentation of medals to the winners, followed by the award for the best-performing school.
The winning teams from this zonal round has now advanced to the International stage, scheduled to be held in Delhi on 11th and 12th January 2025.
Mr. Ramanujam delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, organisers and attendees for making the event a grand success. The day ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
The IRC League is the Biggest Robotics and Coding League that aims to celebrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and make innovation an area of passion for the young minds of the developing world.
