Time to remember, reflect, and rejoice in our nation’s history.

NPS, Ckbnr observed the 78th year of Indian Independence with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on August 15, 2024.
The day commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting of the national flag by our esteemed Chairman, Sir Y Raja Reddy. The singing of the national anthem followed by the National salute which filled the air with pride and unity. The school choir delivered a soulful rendition of ‘Sare Jahan Se Accha’ while the management, staff, and students paid floral tribute to the freedom fighters.
The flag-hoisting ceremony was followed by the cultural events planned for the day in the school auditorium. The cultural programme was a vivid display of patriotism that included patriotic songs, dances, and a mime show. Among the highlights was the mime which displayed the journey of freedom struggle in a splendid form. The cultural programmes extended a glimpse of the rich history of our nation and highlighted its cultural diversity.
CEO Ms Preethi Reddy addressed the students, emphasising the importance of unity, discipline, and hard work in the development of the nation. She also reminded the students of the responsibility that comes with freedom and urged them to use their independence wisely.
Addressing the students, Ms. Rajee Samjith, Principal, Junior School highlighted the key moments in the country’s history and called upon the students to take inspiration from the past while actively shaping the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Priyanka Suresh, Principal Senior School focused on the role of the younger generation in nation-building and urged the students to take pride in the country and contribute positively to the society.
The day concluded with the distribution of sweets and saplings to the students and staff who had worked tirelessly to make the event a grand success.
