The Pre-Primary department at National Public School, Ckbnr celebrates an event titled, ‘Shades and Hues’ every month to help little children explore and appreciate the wonderful world of colours.
The colour for the month of June was Red and the tiny-tots celebrated ‘Red Day’ on Friday, the 28th of June 2024 with great enthusiasm and joy.
The day started off with a special assembly conducted by the little ones from Kindergarten, Grade I and II. The children of pre-primary and kindergarten were dressed up in vibrant red outfits, transforming the school into a sea of crimson.
Matching to the theme, Principals, teachers and the staff had also volunteered to wear shades of red in order to encourage their learning experience.
The tiny tots who conducted the assembly were dressed up as an apple, ketchup, rose, strawberry and cherry. They also spoke on the importance of the colour Red.
The entire day was filled with various activities including art and craft sessions where children created beautiful red-themed paintings and decorations. It was indeed a day filled with creativity, camaraderie and a whole lot of fun!
