Students of Grade XII, welcomed the new students of Grade XI on Friday, June 14, 2024 with a splendid granduer.
Welcome Day, themed “Desi Dhamaka” was hosted by the senior students to their juniors with an aim to set a positive tone for the upcoming school year and also to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere for the new students.
The juniors received an extravagant welcome to the programme in the traditional way by showering of flower petals and adorning of garlands.
The event officially began by lighting the lamp by the Senior School Principal Ms Priyanka Suresh, Junior School Principal, Ms Rajee Samjith, Senior Co-curricular Co-ordinator Ms Madhura Prashanth and students representives of Grade XI and XII (Sumita and Ayush).
The highlight of the event was a series of cultural performances by the Grade IX, X and XII students. The new students introduced themselves and shared their experiences. They further expressed their gratitude to their seniors and teachers for rendering such a warm welcome and creating a friendly, supportive environment for them.
On the occasion, two students Shruti Ranjan and Mohammed Zayan from Grade XI were selected as “Miss Fresher” and “Mr. Fresher” respectively. They were felicitated with Sash and Tiara by the senior students of Grade XII.
At NPS, CKBNR we are elated to have our new students on board and we welcome them with open arms. Looking forward to create more memories and together we will Reach Out, Reach High and Reach Beyond.
