The children from Playgroup and Nursery took part in a Fancy Dress event as part of the cultural week celebrating Incredible India on Friday, the 9th of August 2024.

Children dressed up as great personalities and historical figures from India’s rich tapestry of culture and history. Little ones came adorned in vibrant saris, turbans, and traditional attire, embodying icons such as Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Lakshmibai, Kittur Rani Chennama and Subhash Chandra Bose. The event was a colourful spectacle, with each child proudly presenting their chosen character to an audience of delighted peers and teachers.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and admiration as each tiny participant walked onto the stage. It was heartwarming to see even the youngest confidently speak a few lines about their character’s contributions and significance.

The teachers couldn’t help but smile at the effort and enthusiasm displayed by the children. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of cultural education and the joy it brings to young minds.

The event concluded with a group photo, capturing the colourful array of costumes and the beaming faces of the children, proud of their roles in celebrating ‘Incredible India’.
