The tiny- tots celebrated Raksha Bandhan on Monday, the 19th of August 2024. A special
assembly was conducted to help students understand the significance of this beautiful
festival.
Stories about the bond between brothers and sisters were narrated, emphasising the values of
love, protection and respect.
Children eagerly participated in the rakhi-tying ceremony, where sisters tied rakhi threads on
their brothers’ wrists, symbolising their prayers for their brothers’ well-being. In return,
brothers gave their sisters heartfelt gifts and promised to protect them always.
By the end of the assembly, the tiny-tots had not only enjoyed a day of fun and festivity but
also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of familial bonds and the cherished
traditions that bring people together.
