The students of Pre-Primary came together to celebrate a unique and captivating event – Shades and Hues of Blue on Wednesday, the 28th of August 2024. This day was dedicated to embracing the calming and inspiring qualities of the colour blue. From decorations to activities, everything was centred around this soothing hue, creating an immersive experience for everyone.
The hall and classrooms were adorned with blue streamers, balloons and blue themed decorations. Teachers and students alike were dressed in various shades of blue, from azure to navy, fostering a sense of unity and collective spirit.
The event was hosted by the tiny-tots, from being the emcee to delivering the vote of thanks. Children enthusiastically danced and sang songs that centred around the colour, blue.
The highlight of the event was a magic show presented by the teachers. The little children watched in awe as the teachers transformed into enchanting magicians, complete with capes and wands. Gasps of amazement filled the room when a teacher pulled a seemingly endless ribbon from an empty hat. The children’s faces lit up with wonder and joy, their eyes sparkling with excitement at each new trick. It was a delightful spectacle that not only entertained but also brought everyone closer together, creating cherished memories that would last for years to come.
It was indeed a day filled with lots of fun, learning and countless memories made.
