SPARKING CREATIVITY AND INSPIRATION – 2023-24

At National Public School, Chikkabanavara decorating display or bulletin boards has become an exciting tradition. These theme-based, visually appealing spaces serve as a canvas for students to showcase their creativity, engage with their peers, and enhance, inspire, motivate, and ignite a passion for learning.
Through colourful visuals, informative posters, and interactive elements, students across Grades I to XII transformed ordinary boards into charismatic displays that captivated, inspired, and communicated important messages.
The theme chosen by Grades I & II was ‘Save Tiger’ as part of International Tiger’s Day which depicted the need to protect the Tiger Population, Grades III to V chose ‘World Population Day’ to showcase the statistics of World’s growing population and the need to control it. Grades VI to VIII picked ‘World Nature Conservation Day’ to spread awareness among the students for the need to Save our Resources. Grades IX to XII decided on ‘World Justice Day’ which calls for one and all to support justice, advance victim rights, and aid in the prevention of crimes that endanger the world’s peace, security, and well-being.
Our school provides students with a unique opportunity to unleash their creativity. By brainstorming ideas, choosing themes, and designing visual elements, students exercise their artistic skills and imaginative thinking. Decorating theme-based boards often involves collaboration and teamwork among students. Whether it’s a classroom project or a school-wide initiative, students learn to work together, negotiate ideas, and allocate responsibilities. Through shared decision-making and the distribution of tasks, students develop crucial interpersonal skills, such as communication, cooperation, and compromise. Collaborative efforts also foster a sense of belonging and unity within the student body.
