The festive spirit of Christmas filled the air as National Public School, Ckbnr celebrated this joyous occasion with great joy and heartwarming performances on Dec 20,2024. The day started with a special assembly that showcased the spirit of giving, togetherness and joy, marking the occasion in the most memorable way.
The event kicked off with a beautiful carol singing session, where the school choir performed several classic Christmas carols in English and Kannada language. Their melodious voices spread holiday cheer among students and staff. Teachers also sang a medley of carols which were full of energy, with everyone joining in to sing popular Christmas songs. The students’ enthusiasm was palpable and the performance set the tone for the rest of the celebration.
Following the carol singing, Junior students performed a skit depicting the story of the birth of Jesus Christ, which is the central theme of Christmas. The skit was filled with drama and deep emotion, beautifully capturing the essence of love, hope and peace that Christmas symbolises.
Santa Surprises the Children
In a heartwarming surprise, Santa Claus himself made a grand appearance during the assembly, much to the delight of the children. Dressed in his iconic red suit, Santa greeted the students and handed over chocolates to all the children, bringing smiles to their faces. The surprise visit by Santa added a magical touch to the event, reinforcing the joy and excitement of the holiday season.
Kindergarten Skit Performance
The youngest students in the school, the kindergarten children also took part in the celebrations by performing a short and delightful skit. Their innocence and adorable performance brought a wave of joy and laughter.
