In order to help students, understand the world around them better, an event titled, ‘Theme of the Month’ has been introduced for the tiny-tots of KG-I and KG-II respectively. The theme of the Month for June was, ‘OUR NATURE’ and was organised on Thursday, the 27th of June 2024.
During this event, the young learners were engaged in a variety of activities designed to foster a deeper appreciation for the environment. They participated in activities centred around the beauty of nature, crafted colourful collages using pebbles, twigs, leaves and flowers, sowed seeds and even enjoyed a nature walk within the school premises.
The event was a resounding success, as the children were not only delighted but also curious and eager to learn more about the natural world.
Teachers made sure to emphasise the importance of caring for our planet by explaining concepts like recycling and conservation in simple, relatable terms. Students presented charts and models, discussing the different things in nature. The joy and excitement on the faces of the little ones were a testament to the success of the event.
It was a small but significant step towards instilling a lifelong love and respect for the natural world in these young minds.
