An overview of the Curriculum for the parents of Pre-Primary was organised by the teachers on Saturday, the 22nd of June 2024. The teachers explained the importance of early childhood education and how it lays the foundation for lifelong learning. They highlighted the key areas of development that the curriculum focuses on, including social-emotional skills, cognitive abilities, language and literacy, and physical development.

Parents were given a detailed insight into the daily schedule, which balances structured activities with free play, ensuring that children have ample opportunities to explore and learn at their own pace. The teachers emphasised the role of play-based learning in fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and social interactions among children. Additionally, the session included a walkthrough of some of the learning materials and resources used in the classroom, such as storybooks, educational toys, and interactive games.

Teachers also shared strategies for parents to support their child’s learning at home, reinforcing the concepts and skills introduced in school.

The overview concluded with a Q&A session, where parents could address their concerns and seek clarifications on any aspect of the curriculum. The collaborative effort between the teachers and parents aimed to create a supportive and nurturing environment for the children, ensuring they receive the best possible start in their educational journey.
