National Public School, Chikkabanavara hosted a vibrant Young Artist event for Playgroup,
Nursery, KGI and KGII on Monday, the 3rd of March 2025, in their respective classrooms.
The event provided a creative platform for our young learners to express themselves through
art, with each segment showcasing a unique theme. In the Playgroup and Nursery classes,
students enthusiastically coloured pictures on the theme “Colourful Garden.” They used a
variety of bright colours and techniques to bring their imaginative gardens to life and each
child was provided with a worksheet to further explore their artistic skills.
In the KG-I classes, the focus shifted to a more personal theme as students drew and coloured
pictures on “My Home and Family.” Their artworks captured the warmth and uniqueness of
their family, demonstrating both creativity and attention to detail. Meanwhile, KG-II students
immersed themselves in an oceanic adventure, illustrating vibrant pictures of the ocean filled
with colourful water animals. Their artworks showcased a dynamic use of colours and
imaginative portrayals of marine life.
The Young Artist event was a delightful celebration of creativity and self-expression,
reflecting the exceptional talent and enthusiasm of our young artists while reinforcing the
importance of art in early education
