‘CARPE DIEM’: A MAGICAL INTER-SCHOOL FEST 2024-25

The vibrant and joyous atmosphere of Carpe Diem, the eagerly anticipated Inter-School Fest hosted at NPS Ckbnr on December 6, 2024-25, transformed an ordinary day into an extraordinary celebration.
Inspired by the theme Seasons and the enchanting world of Disney, the campus was turned into a magical wonderland where fairies waved their wands, spreading glitter, colours, magic and joy across every corner.
From the adorable tiny tots of Kindergarten to the spirited young talents of Grade V, the event was a delightful showcase of creativity, talent and unlimited fun. The decorations brought beloved Disney characters to life, creating a whimsical atmosphere that transported everyone into a realm of charm and wonder.
The festivities began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by The CEO Ms. Preethi Reddy, Senior School Principal Ms. Priyanka Suresh, Junior School Principal Ms. Rajee Samjith, Senior Coordinator Ms. Madhura Prashanth and Junior School Coordinator Ms. Sukanya Rao.
Participating schools, including Rainbow International School, Vijayashree Public School, National Public School (Kengeri), Jain Heritage School, National Public School (Kalkere), Zion Preschool and Little Millennium School, came together to celebrate the joyous occasion.
The formal inauguration of Carpe Diem was led by the CEO Ms. Preethi Reddy, accompanied by both the Principals of Senior and Junior School. In her address, the CEO shared her thoughts, inspiring the gathering with her vision and encouraging the children to seize every opportunity — in line with the true essence of Carpe Diem.
Following the address, the most colourful and captivating performance of the day took centre stage — the Theme Dance. Portraying the beauty of all four seasons — summer, autumn, winter, and spring — along with the playful charm of the cartoon world, the performance left the audience enchanted, entertained and beaming with smiles.
Junior School Principal Ms. Rajee Samjith introduced Carpe Diem, emphasising the event’s role in encouraging young minds to embrace creativity and express themselves fully.
Throughout the day, a variety of performances and competitions unfolded, showcasing the incredible skills of the participants in Singing, Dancing, Art & Craft, Fashion Show, DIY: Dress Designing, Fancy Dress and many more. Each act celebrated the innocence of childhood while embodying the magic of Disney’s timeless stories.
Teachers and judges were marvelled at the enthusiasm of the students and applauded the efforts taken by the students. The festival highlighted the values of teamwork, creativity and joyful learning.
The grand finale was the highlight of the day, where participants came together to celebrate their achievements. Prizes were awarded to the winners, and the coveted rolling trophy was proudly claimed by National Public School, Kengeri. The event concluded with hearts full of joy, memories to cherish and a renewed spirit of togetherness. The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. Every participant seized the day and carried home fond memories.
