With a view to establish an effective communication between parents and the school, National Public School, Chikkabanavara conducted a Parent Orientation programme on Saturday, May 25 , 2024, in the school auditorium.
The Programme commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony. The lamp was lit by the Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh and Junior School Principal, Ms. Rajee Samjith.
A comprehensive and detailed presentation on the academic curriculum, extracurricular activities, assessments, evaluation, code of conduct, attendance, school timings, requirements and various other facilities was presented together by the School Co-ordinators and Section Heads of different segments.
Addressing the gathering, Junior School Principal, Ms. Rajee Samjith shared a few beneficial thoughts on “Mindful Parenting” wherein she threw light on the different parenting styles.
She urged all the parents to work hand in hand with the school in building strong roots in children to prepare them to fly with stronger wings.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior School Principal, Ms. Priyanka Suresh welcomed the parents to the NPS family and took a moment to introduce all the faculty members, who will be guiding their children throughout the year.
She felt that the overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents and it is thus imperative that both parents and school not only share a cordial relationship but also enjoy a great rapport. She called out the students to start a new beginning everyday and unfold their potential to reach out, reach high and reach beyond.
The programme concluded with an interactive question and answer session that were addressed by Senior School Principal, Ms Priyanka Suresh. The session allowed parents to express their concerns and seek clarifications on various aspects of school life.
The parents were further reassured about the teachers commitment to their wards well-being and academic success. Parents also expressed their sincere gratitude for the school’s proactive approach in addressing the diverse needs of every student.
