The campus of National Public School, Chikkabanavara was bathed in a warm, inviting glow as parents, staff and students came together to celebrate Deepanjali Fest on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. The festive spirit was palpable, and the air was filled with excitement as the school community gathered for a day of cultural richness and joyous festivities.
The fest was inaugurated by our Chairman Shri Raja Reddy accompanied by the CEO Mrs. Preethi Reddy and the Academic Director and Principal Mrs. Mary Thomas.
The school organised cultural exhibition where the students of Grades VI to VIII displayed their talent and creativity in the form of artwork made by them and put up in different stalls for sale. The aroma of traditional Diwali Sweets and Delicious Cuisines prepared by the students of Grades IX to XII wafted through the air as the school also hosted a delightful food festival.
The school premises was adorned with vibrant decorations that reflected the spirit of Diwali. Traditional Diyas illuminated walkways, and Colourful Rangoli adorned the entrances, creating a visually stunning and festive atmosphere. Torans and festive banners added a touch of tradition to the celebration. Staff and students gathered to light Diyas together, creating a beautiful spectacle of flickering lights that added a spiritual and harmonious touch to the event.
The Deepanjali Fest was a resounding success, blending tradition with contemporary celebration. The event not only showcased the cultural diversity within the school community but also promoted a sense of unity and understanding. The memories created during this fest will undoubtedly linger, fostering a spirit of celebration and cultural appreciation throughout the school.
