INSPIRING WONDER, IGNITING PASSION: NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

A special assembly was conducted at National Public School, Ckbnr to commemorate National Science Day, celebrated on February 28th every year in India to honour the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. The assembly aimed to instil scientific temper, promote rational thinking, encourage a spirit of inquiry and a deeper appreciation for science among students and highlight its significance in our lives.
The assembly began with a thought presented by Rishika of Grade VI. A brief overview on the significance of National Science Day and its connection to Sir C.V. Raman’s groundbreaking discovery was delivered by Thaneeksha of Grade VII, enlightening students about the historical context of the day.
The special assembly on National Science Day served as a reminder of the importance of nurturing scientific curiosity and critical thinking skills among the younger generation, laying the foundation for future scientific advancements and innovations.
