INTERNATIONAL TIGER DAY 2024

International Tiger Day was celebrated by the young learners of the Pre-Primary Wing on Monday, the 29th of July,2024.

A special assembly was conducted to help little children understand some fascinating facts about tigers and the crucial role they play in maintaining ecological balance. The children listened intently, their eyes wide with wonder.

Teachers encouraged children from KG-I and KG-II to colour the picture of a Tiger. As the celebrations drew to a close, each child from Playgroup and Nursery received a small token—a tiger face mask—to remind them of the day’s lessons and the importance of protecting these magnificent creatures.

The event not only fostered a sense of appreciation for wildlife but also instilled in the young minds a deep sense of responsibility towards preserving the planet’s natural treasures.

THEME OF THE MONTH – JULY

The theme of the month was organised on Friday, the 26th of July,2024 and Tuesday, the 30th of July,2024 by the students of KG-I and KG-II respectively.

The theme of July focused on Wildlife. Students explored different wild animals, their habitats, and even wore masks and role-played as animals. The air was filled with the sounds of nature, from the rustle of leaves underfoot to the distant calls of exotic birds.

Each day brought new discoveries and thrilling experiences. Young explorers learnt about the intricate ecosystems that these creatures depended on, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world. The students’ eyes sparkled with wonder as they listened to teachers share fascinating facts and stories about the animal kingdom. Tales of bravery and adventure were shared, each one more captivating than the last. It was a time for bonding, reflection, and dreaming big.

As the month drew to a close, the students took with them not just memories, but a renewed sense of connection to the world around them. They left with hearts full of curiosity and minds eager to protect and cherish the environment and its inhabitants.

The experiences of July had transformed them, leaving an indelible mark that would inspire them for years to come.
